Meeting #72 Review!
Sad as it is, I could not attend this meeting and so my knowledge of what went down is fairly limited. For that reason, there is little I can say here, but I have inquired about it from others and am aware of a few highlights.
My birdies tell me (sorry, I've been reading "A Game of Thrones" of the "A Song of Ice and Fire" book series recently) that the attendees watched an anime entitled "Ansatsu Kyoushitsu".
They also told me that it was beyond unwatchable, with people needing several breaks from this gut-wrenching car crash from hell of a series in order to recuperate, making sure their brains are still operational and their souls still intact. This saddens me, 'cause the first time I heard about this anime was when someone pointed out to me how an animated gif I posted in our official group is from the show. The gif itself seemed fun enough, the show seemed to have a cooky and nonsensical enough of a premise to make for a good time, so I thought I'd check it out eventually. I still will most likely, and despite our peers' distaste of it, you should give it a shot if you feel inclined to. It's supposedly "crazy and random". If that's "crazy and random of the good kind or bad, you be the judge. The series has an acceptable rating on the site I linked to above, if that means anything to ya.

After that was over with, people were given the challenge of guessing the anime by the eyes of the "mascot". I must confess, I have no idea what "mascot" means in this instance. My birdies were pretty scarce on the details here. Is it only meant to mean posteboy? Is, like, Pikachu a mascot for Pokémon? What about Goku for Dragon Ball? What if I want Psyduck and Farmer with Shotgun as my mascots for Pokémon and Dragon Ball, respectively? WHAT THEN, HUH?!

Aaaanyway, out of the 16 attainable points Grat won 9, which made him the winner and the proud owner of a hand-made Pikachu canvas. After that was over with, the anime-maniacs played a few round of "Werewolves of Miller's Hollow" and called it a day.
